What We Believe

-We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired, infallible Word of God and that its original manuscripts are free from errors and contradictions. We believe that God’s intentions, revealed in the Bible, are the supreme and final authority in testing all claims about what is true and what is right.

-We believe in one God, who exists eternally in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is perfect in holiness, just, loving, and truthful. He is the King, Creator, and Redeemer of all that is.

-We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is God’s Anointed One. We believe He became man without ceasing to be God, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men. He was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, and resurrected, and ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father. The victorious redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides freedom from the power of the Enemy (sin, lies, sickness, and torment).

-We believe that we are saved by God’s grace, through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ.

-We believe that man is totally depraved in that of himself he is utterly unable to remedy his lost condition.

-We believe that the Holy Spirit came forth from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment; and to regenerate, sanctify, comfort, and seal those who believe in Jesus Christ.  We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, who indwells the Christian and enables one to live holy and minister supernaturally. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is poured out on believers that they might have power to be witnesses.

-We believe The Church consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ.

-We believe Jesus Christ gave His Church the ordinances of Baptism and Communion.

-We believe in the baptism of believers, symbolizing the believer’s union in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

-We believe in the observance of the Lord’s Supper commemorating the sacrifice of our Savior for all mankind.

-We believe the Church exists to carry on the ministry of Jesus Christ and further advance His Kingdom by undoing the works of the enemy, preaching and living the good news of Jesus Christ, discipling the nations, baptizing them to love and obey God.

-We believe in the ever increasing government of God and in the Blessed Hope, which is the glorious visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ for His overcoming bride.

-We believe heaven and hell are real places. There will be a resurrection of the saved unto everlasting life and a resurrection of the lost unto everlasting death.
