Core Values

  1. Unity – It is important for local churches to unite regionally, and we believe that gatherings of worshippers across denominational lines pleases God (John 17.20-23; 1 Cor. 12.12-27; Gal. 3.26-29; Eph. 2.13-22).
  2. Local church – The local church is the vehicle through which God reaches the world. We exist to support and equip the local church (1 Cor. 12:12-27).
  3. Discipleship – Discipleship is the mandate from God to every believer. Discipleship is done in the context of healthy relationships/community (Matthew 28:19-20).
  4. Authentic Worship – Worship includes, but is not limited to, the traditional elements found in a worship service (e.g. songs of praise, preaching of God’s word, etc.). The essence of worship is God’s revelation of Himself and our response. Worship is an intentional lifestyle and can be expressed through many different avenues such as the arts, media, acts of service/justice/mercy, etc. (Isaiah 6:1-8; John 4.21-24).
